Comment on What are you teaching my child right now? by Sarah Lechner https://tuliptreepreschool.com/elm-house-blog/what-are-you-teaching-my-child-right-now/#comment-6436 Wed, 06 Feb 2019 22:49:32 +0000 https://tuliptreepreschool.com/?p=21161#comment-6436 Z also has a lovey bunny named Coco. 😊]]> I love this! So fun to hear such creative exchanges happening!

Here is an email I shared with Bee, re: ZS’s ideas captured above:
Lots of his comments are a riff on a book we read called “whatever next” about a bear who wants to go to the moon, but his Mom says its bathtime & anyway he’d have to find a rocket first. So, he finds a cardboard box in the cupboard under the stairs & deems it a rocket, makes a helmet out of a colander, packs some snacks & blasts off up the chimney & heads for the moon. He meets an owl along the way who joins him. They have a picnic on the moon, which they discover is quite lonely, and then he comes back to earth & down the chimney, just in time for Bath! 😊

Z also has a lovey bunny named Coco. 😊

Hearing the twists and turns in their developing, collaborative story is such a gift- thank you for capturing. I laughed so much and felt so proud of all of them! The conflict resolution is so different then before- really amazing. And H’s appearance at the end ices the cake 🙂
