Enrollment at Tulip Tree:
Tulip Tree Preschool strives for diversity, and wants to help our families by easing the stress that often comes with trying to afford high quality early education for your children. Here are a few ways that Tulip Tree offers help to families.
1) We accept Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) childcare tuition reimbursements. For more information, please go to the this page.
2) If your family is not eligible for DHS, we offer limited, partial work trade in exchange for lowered tuition rates. If you have already checked out the website for DHS, and your family does not qualify for tuition reimbursements, then please contact Sarah-Lu for information about work trade.
3) We offer partial scholarships for children who apply for enrollment, and are eligible. Because we believe that quality education should be accessible to all children, for these scholarships we will be actively seeking families who add to the diversity of our school.
In addition to high quality, arts-infused early education for your children, enrollment also includes AM and PM snack, as well as a healthy and organic homemade lunch.

4 days- M / Tu / Th / F $800.00/1150.00 with Aftercare- Preschool $1210- Wobbler/Toddler House
5 days- M / Tu / W / Th / F $900.00/1350.00 with Aftercare- Preschool $1400- Wobbler/Toddler House
Yearly Enrollment Fee: $200

Tulip Tree Preschool is a year-round school. Please see the Calendar page for a list of breaks, closures, and planning days. The Elm House is not involved in summer camps, and instead runs through the summer with the same schedule of breaks as the preschool.
For your convenience, annual tuition is broken into equal monthly installments. The first and final installments are due June 1st 2017 (or upon enrollment if later). Each subsequent payment is due on the 1st of each month, beginning on October 1st. An annual enrollment fee of $200.00 is due at the time of enrollment, and yearly thereafter, in order to hold your enrollment spot.
*All fees and tuitions are non-refundable. We do not prorate for closures, absences, or breaks. We do not offer drop-in days or make-up days.
The application procedure is as follows: RSVP for an informational tour by emailing Sarah-Lu here. If you are interested in applying, then fill out an application and return it with the application fee. When we receive your application, we will place you on the wait list for the year that you are interested in (either the following school year, or mid-year if there are openings).
Once you have been placed on the wait list, we will either 1) contact you if there are any openings mid-year, if this is what you specify; OR 2) contact you once open enrollment begins on February 1st, if there are spots available. If no spots are available, then we will contact you and let you know about your place on the wait list for the following year. If for some reason you don’t hear from us, you are always welcome to send an email, or give us a phone call to check in.
Priority enrollment will be given to families of color, families with parents or children who are queer, families with parents and/or children with special rights (needs) that we can accommodate at our school, under-served populations, and other families that offer a diverse perspective to our community.
